When Kelsey's' family first learnt that she was had Prader-Willi Syndrome,none of them had heard of this condition.In order to find out more,Kelseys Mother and Grandmother joined the Prader-Wiili Association.

As they discovered more, and the impact it would have on Kelsey’s life and that of her family,they wanted to share this knowledge with the local community.After much discussion it was it was felt that the best way to do this was through forming a committee.Awareness of Prader -Willi could be raised in the community through fund-raising events and activities.

Family and friends were enlisted at the end of March 2005 and Strawberry Kurlz was born!
